Who are we?

Sefton Paddlers Canoe Club was formed on 24th January 1989. It came into being as a result of a group of people living and working in Sefton seeing a need for such an activity within the area. It was decided that an Open Canoe Club be formed with the idea of encouraging people from all areas of the Borough to participate.

NB: We are the only recognised Canoe Lifeguard Unit in the North West.

What are our aims?

1. To teach canoeing properly and safely to prevent water related accidents using improper craft without the correct instruction.
